My Chiefs finally won a game. Even though it was against the Vikings, I'll take it. I'll take every victory we can get this year. I swear, the Chiefs have been as bad as that Shannon Doherty Education Connection commercial (yeah, I couldn't believe that happened either). I so look forward to their bye week next week. I need the emotional break. It's often hard to be the fan of a relatively talented team who is swimming in mediocrity.
Tony Gonzalez Reception count is at 1090. Four away from tying Tim Brown, and five from being alone in Fourth place all time, and the good thing is that I get to watch tonight!!! Yay!!!
Fantasy Fans: Don't forget that Baltimore, Cleveland, Dallas, Miami, St. Louis, Washington have their byes this week!
Last week was my best pick week ever!!! I went 13-3 which brings my 2011 record to 44-19. So here we go...
Sunday October 9:
Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers (CBS 1PM) Pittsburgh
Kansas City Chiefs @ Indianapolis Colts (CBS 1PM) Kansas City (Chiefs take the victories where you can!!!)
Cincinnati Bengals @ Jacksonville Jaguars (CBS 1PM) Jacksonville
Oakland Raiders @ Houston Texans (CBS 1PM) Oakland (I won't pick against the Raiders today.)
Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings (FOX 1PM) Minnesota
Seattle Seahawks @ New York Giants (FOX 1PM) New York Giants
New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers (FOX 1PM) New Orleans
Philadelphia Eagles @ Buffalo Bills (FOX 1PM) Buffalo
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ San Francisco 49ers (FOX 4PM) San Francisco
New York Jets @ New England Patriots (CBS 4:15PM) New York Jets
San Diego Chargers @ Denver Broncos (CBS 4:15PM) San Diego
Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons (NBC 8:20PM) Atlanta (Although I'm about 90% certain that Green Bay will win)
Monday October 10
Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions (ESPN 8:30PM) Detroit
Until next week in the words of Al Davis, "Just Win Baby!!!!"
I like Cincy, AZ, NE and Chi, but other than that we're the same on our picks. I wouldn't pick against Oakland today either. As dysfunctional as Al and his crew has been, it still seems sad that he's passed. I wonder if Marcus Allen will attend the funeral?
